It is with immense sadness that we acknowledge the passing of Her Majesty the Queen. She has led the country, loyally providing an outstanding example of selfless commitment and service. The Veterans we represent served her father during the Second World War and many have also served the Queen in varying roles during their lifetime. The Queen has always been held in the highest regard and it is a matter of pride for the Veterans that they have served the Crown over the years. The Veterans and Trustees of the Spirit of Normandy Trust offer their heartfelt and sincere condolences to the Royal family at this time of their acute loss.
