Thank you Mandy I was coming to Normandy this year with my daughter with the Veterans from Maidstone and we were excited to meet with them again, sadly it’s not to be ,but like you I was thinking about my Dad who landed on Sword Beach and went on through France ,Belgium and on to Arnhem ,then across the Rhine to Germany. He never spoke about his war and I was 6 years old when he came home in 1946. He lived his life helping others especially St Dunstan’s war blinded. We hope to come next year God willing.Hope we can meet you.

Thank you Mandy and Richard for a very moving video and service.
Well done.
Hopefully we can all be together in 2021 to pay our respects in person.
