It is with great sadness that we have to announce the death of Walter (Wally) Beall on Monday 24th January at the age of 97. Wally served in the Royal Navy as Leading Wireman and Port Oerlikon Gunner on LCT 836, which was used to deliver tanks to the US Army on Utah Beach on D Day and beyond.
The funeral service will take place at 1045 on Thursday 17th February at West Wiltshire Crematorium. Wally has asked that donations should go to the Spirit of Normandy Trust.
