We have been approached by a production company making a documentary for National Geographic. The programme will focus on key events that took place on D-Day. There are two stories that they are hoping to find more information about.
The first is the 7th Parachute Battalion, who jumped into Normandy in the early hours of D-Day. The other is about the Staffordshire Yeomanry, who successful halted the only major German counterattack that took place on D-Day. They would love to speak to any veterans or read their account of D-Day.
