Their Finest Hour is a Second World War history project funded by the National Heritage Fund and it’s aim is to collect and digitally archive as many of the everyday stories and objects of the Second World War as possible. To do this, they are supporting 80-100 volunteer-run ‘Digital Collection Days’ where members of the public can bring along any war-related stories and objects that have been passed down to them to be recorded, photographed and uploaded to their free-to-use online archive.
