Darren Crook, with two other runners and a support team, undertook an epic 44 mile run along the South Coast of England on 4th June to raise funds for the Spirit of Normandy Trust. The run was the equivalent of running from Utah Beach to Pegasus Bridge along the Normandy Landing Beaches. As D Day 77 approaches this was a particularly appropriate way to remember the massive sacrifice of so many who took part in D Day and the battle for Normandy and has raised over £7,000 towards supporting the work of the Trust. Well done Darren and the team and a huge thank you from all of us a the Spirit of Normandy Trust and from the veterans we support.
