On 12th May the family of the late Hector Duff, MM,OBE,TH,Leg.d’hon, were guests at a reception at Government House Onchan IOM, hosted by the Lt Governor to receive the “Soldiering On” award on behalf of Hector. The news of this prestigious award was announced on the occasion of his 100th birthday in October 2019, Hector sadly died in November 2020. An amazing man whom many of us were privileged to know and consider a friend.
